Terms of Service

The rules that govern your use of TireOrbit. Read them once, then forget about them.

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TireOrbit. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TireOrbit.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the continental United States to place an order. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Orders and pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars and include the cost of the tires plus a $130 install credit (see install credit details). Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination. Prices and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

3. Install credit

Every tire price includes a $130 install credit (configurable per item) that you redeem at the local installer you select at checkout. The credit covers professional mounting, balancing, valve stems, and old-tire disposal at the installer’s standard rate. Anything beyond that scope (alignment, TPMS sensors, road force balance, special rims, runflats requiring extra labor) is paid directly to the shop. The credit is not redeemable for cash, not transferable, and expires 90 days after delivery if unused.

4. Payments

We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Affirm, and Klarna through Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us (and Stripe) to charge the selected method. Buy-now-pay-later options (Affirm, Klarna) are subject to their own underwriting and terms, which you accept directly with the lender at checkout.

5. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the local installer you choose at checkout. Standard delivery is 2 to 4 business days within the continental US. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight forwarders. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers to the installer. See our shipping page for details.

6. Returns and refunds

You may return new, unused, uninstalled tires within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the tire purchase price. Once a tire has been mounted on a wheel, it is no longer returnable except under a manufacturer warranty claim. The $130 install credit is refunded only if the tires are returned uninstalled. You are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defect. See our returns page for the full process.

7. Manufacturer warranties

Tires carry the manufacturer’s treadwear, materials, and workmanship warranty. We do not extend or modify those warranties. Warranty claims are processed through the brand directly; we will help you file when we can. See our warranty page.

8. Installer relationships

Local installers are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of TireOrbit, and TireOrbit is not responsible for their work, scheduling, or pricing of services beyond the install credit. Disputes about installation quality should be raised first with the installer; if unresolved, contact us at [email protected] and we will help mediate.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape or reverse-engineer the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with security features, post unlawful or infringing content in reviews, impersonate others, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Intellectual property

The TireOrbit name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by TireOrbit and protected by copyright and trademark law. Brand names, logos, and tire models referenced on the site belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where prohibited by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TireOrbit’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TireOrbit harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. You waive the right to a class action or class-wide arbitration. Either party may pursue claims in small claims court for matters within that court’s jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or a banner on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
