Customer satisfaction sits at the center of everything we do. If something arrives wrong, gets damaged in transit, or you simply need to send a set back, our team makes it straightforward. Reach out through contact and a specialist will walk you through it.
Return for refund or exchange
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, tires and wheels must be unused - never mounted on a wheel or driven on - and shipped back in original condition with manufacturer labels and packaging intact whenever possible.
- 30 days from delivery to start a return
- Unmounted, never driven, no physical damage
- Original shipping wrap and labels intact
- No restocking fee on eligible returns
Customers cover return shipping for change-of-mind returns. If the return is due to a TireOrbit error - wrong size, wrong product, duplicate shipment - we cover the shipping both ways and ship the correct set out at no extra charge.
Damaged or incorrect shipments
If the tires arrive damaged, with the wrong size, or with a wrong part number, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Keep the tires in original condition and packaging with all carrier labels attached. We arrange a free return pickup and either issue a full refund or ship a replacement set at no additional cost.
Photos of the carrier label, exterior packaging, and the tire sidewall speed up the claim. Send them through the contact form with your order number.
Manufacturer warranty claims
Every tire ships with the manufacturer's warranty extended directly to you, the buyer. We facilitate the claim end-to-end so you do not have to chase the brand yourself. Submit photos and your installer's assessment, and we coordinate the inspection, replacement, or credit with the manufacturer.
Outcomes vary by brand. Each manufacturer inspects warranty claims on a case-by-case basis against their own coverage rules. Treadlife and mileage warranties exist on many - but not all - tire models, even within the same brand. Coverage details for the exact tire you purchased are listed on the product page and in your order email.
- Defects in materials or workmanship - manufacturer warranty
- Mileage shortfall - only on tires sold with a treadlife warranty

Frequently asked questions
- Can I return a tire after it's been mounted?
- No. Once a tire has been mounted on a wheel or driven on, it is considered used and is not eligible for a change-of-mind return. Mounted tires can still be covered under the manufacturer's warranty if a defect appears.
- How do I start a return?
- Use the contact form with your order number. A specialist replies within 2 business days with a prepaid return label and the drop-off carrier.
- Is there a restocking fee?
- No restocking fee on unmounted, undamaged tires returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Who pays return shipping?
- TireOrbit covers return shipping when the return is due to our error, a damaged shipment, or an incorrect product. For change-of-mind returns, the customer pays return shipping.
- What if a tire is defective?
- Manufacturer defects are covered by the brand's warranty. We file the claim with the manufacturer for you - submit photos and the installer's assessment, and we coordinate replacement directly.
- How long do refunds take?
- Once your return arrives at the warehouse and is inspected, refunds post in 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
- What about Affirm or Klarna orders?
- Refunds are routed through your BNPL provider. Remaining installments are reduced or eliminated based on the refund amount - no extra steps from you.
- Does the install credit get refunded?
- Yes. The $100 install credit is part of the listed price, so a full refund includes the credit. If you've already used the credit at the shop on a partial return, only the difference is refunded.
